LADIES CHRISTMAS POT LUCK DINNER
All ladies of the parish 16 years of age and older, and their friends, are invited to the CWL ANNUAL CHRISTMAS POTLUCK DINNER on Wednesday, Dec 5, 2012. The evening will begin at 6:00 pm with a special mass followed by the best smorgasboard available, then some much needed relaxation while, back by popular demand, St. Basil's own Joan Minnery will entertain us with her amazing voice and sparkling personality. And don't forget the prizes.
All you have to do is bring a prepared main or side dish or dessert to share with everyone. Also bring your own plate, mug and cutlery.
And one of the best parts of a potluck dinner is that we all take our dirty dishes and containers home to be washed. So be sure to have a plastic bag with you to carry them home in. That way no one will be stuck in the kitchen rushing around to keep up with dishwashing and will be able to enjoy the evening as well.
Hmmm, what a good night it should be..............

PRAYER SHAWL MEETINGS
Meetings are usually the last Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Watch the bulletin for dates. We meet at the hall and decide if we stay there or go to Coffee Culture to knit in their warm and comfortable environment.
There is lots of yarn available that has been donated to us for this purpose so even if you decide to knit at home please come to the hall when we will be meeting to pick up yarn for yourself for making the shawls.
We need more crafters as we would love to donate a shawl to all of our sick parishioners mentioned at mass or we are informed of. There is never any fee as it is the mandate of the Prayer Shawl Minstry that shawls only be given away.
